Snowmen Snowmen Snowmen!

We've been going a little snowman crazy here at our house lately with it being winter and Christmas being over and all.  I'm really bummed because I forgot to take final photos of both these art projects but rest assured they both turned out SUPER cute and are hanging on their art walls in their rooms.

The first is marshmallow stamping snowmen. Again, fine motor skills and it's kind of something silly to paint with that kids enjoy!

I was highly impressed Little K didn't try to eat hers.

We decked our snowman's all out!

And our next snowman art was puffy paint snowmen.  We mixed equal parts of shaving cream and elmers glue to create a perfect puffy paint.  Oddly enough, Little K DID try to eat this one...

Decorating them in our own creative ways.

because sometimes snowmen have eyes in their belly. =)

And last, but not least was our toilet paper snowmen.  This one was actually my co teachers idea at preschool and they turned out so darling I just had to come home and do them with my own girlies.

Seriously?  How cute are these?!

Ice Cream/Cupcake Shop Sensory Table

Materials Included:

Assorted Jumbo Pom Poms
Tiny pom poms for toppings (cherries, blueberries, etc)
Ice Cream Scoop
Plastic ice cream waffle bowls (I believe these were $5.99 for the 4 pack at Hobby Lobby and then I used my 40% which makes them very reasonable and they are super cute to use for real ice cream too!)
Play cupcakes (a friend actually crocheted mine for me some time ago so I just got lucky)

I must say, this has been one of my most "revisited" sensory tables I've made yet.  The girls just love playing ice cream shop/baker and have played it numerous days over and over again as you can see. This bin is great for working on those fine motor skills too. Bonus especially for the Little K!

And for whatever reason, the really good tables always wind up with Little K climbing into them...
