Arrgh Matey! This was a fun and DIFFERENT idea for a sensory table that Big K really enjoyed. I was actually surprised at how much she knew about pirates given I had never really talked to her about them before.
Materials Included:
Black beans and rocks
Pirate coins (Oriental Trading)
Wooden Pirate Pieces (Hobby Lobby)
"Buried Treasures" (clear rocks and tiny craft jewels)
Foam X for X marks the spot!
She enjoyed gathering her treasures and then decided on her own that she wanted to count all the coins in the table that she had unburied.
