One way I thought would be a good way to reinforce word recognition with little K was to find pictures of everyday words, laminate them and put them up in a place she passes often. For her, this would be in the kitchen since she is always wanting to eat. =) They were the first thing she noticed when she came in the room that day and she smacked them and "talked" at them all day long. I have not done this again many times since but I really need to. All the reinforcement you can get, right?
